Sony MDR-KX70LW Retractable Earbuds

Reviewing Sony MDR-KX70LW Retractable Earbuds

At first when I saw these earbuds I tought that they must be the absolutely best looking pair that I have ever seen. Honestly for retractable earbuds, these are definitely one of the most elegant, simple and simply cool. You don't get that akward white box that reels the cord in, but instead you get this cool chrome-like disc that collects the cord nice and sweet. When I opened the box I noticed that there is this nice attachment that you can use to hang it almost anything.

Lets get down to using the Sony MDR-KX70LW headphones with retractable cords. With the plastic or rubbery attachments on the buds, these provide really good noise cancellation, and that is what Sony is known to deliver. They fit my ear nicely right out the box, but you also get a few spares of different sizes to make sure that they fit your ear nicely. Since the noise cancellation is top notch, you won't have to crank up the volume so high as you would with a regular headphone set, and that keeps your ears safe, but also it provides a better sound quality and experience.

I was surprised at how easy to manage they get because of the clip, and I can keep the clip hanging on the side of my backpack, the mp3-player (this case my iPod) inside the backpack, and just pull the earbuds to my ears, thanks to the well working retracting device. I've heard that people have had these for a few years without experiencing any problems, which to me is a sign of quality - with earbuds you usually start to have a breaking noise in one or two of the speakers after a year or so. This is because the connector is under tension at all times.
